They actually have > to divert the path of these things away from the rig by towing them with > ships! Anyway, in this particular case the water was calm & the sun was > almost directly overhead so that the diver was able to get into the > water and click this pic. Clear water huh?! They estimated the weight at > 300,000,000 tons. > And now we also know why they say one picture is worth a 1000 words....

Packing a 63cm S&S-Coupled Bike

I recently purchased a custom built 63cm Erickson bike. The bike frame was designed with S & S couplings to allow me to pack the bike in a regulation size suit case. This has enabled me to take the bike on extended trips to California and Hawaii. Paking the bike the first time proved to be quite a challenge. After several tries I finally managed to arrange all the parts in the correct order. There are numerous sites on the web that show how others packed their bikes. I wanted to add this entry to give other large frame owners another example. Click here for photos.

Mural Painting-Laura's amazing business

Laura Hooper, my daughter-in-law, has recently started her new mural painting business. She has been very busy doing work for her church. As a result her business is starting to take off. If you would like to see a sample of her great work, click here.
